To complete this task, I am bound.
I feel the signal. It is a coming
down my dendrites, running running.
Keep it moving down my axon,
"Hey Neuron, turn your dendrites on!"
My task is now almost complete.
Synapse to dendrite, we must meet.
Once i've met my nearby bud,
this signal will hit with a thud.
There ya go, now its your turn.
For the next signal, I do yearn.
